ICS Team Leaders

Lattitude ICS Team Leaders

As a Team Leader you have the opportunity to inspire, motivate and help build the skills and confidence of a team of young people from the UK and local communities. Lattitude ICS Team Leaders play a pivotal role in the successful completion of volunteering programmes designed to tackle important development issues in Ghana and Malawi.

The Team Leader will take responsibility for the team, ensuring that project goals are delivered, whilst facilitating the personal development of the individual team members. It is undoubtedly a challenging role, but one that is exceptionally rewarding and enjoyable.

The Team Leader position requires volunteers to stay in country to support the programme for longer periods, taking responsibility for a minimum of two consecutive groups. The minimum commitment for the Team Leader role is 6 months.

As with other ICS roles the Team Leader position is funded by DFID, covering the cost of flights, visas, medical insurance, appropriate vaccinations and basic food and accommodation while volunteering on a project overseas. Similarly, Team Leaders are required to fundraise a minimum of £800 prior to departure, which will supplement the cost of future volunteers on the ICS programme.

To apply for the Team Leader role, select the option on the ICS application form when prompted. Find out more about how to apply
