We have funding available for young people living in the North East of England who are experiencing financial difficulty and who otherwise would not be able to afford to volunteer overseas on a Lattitude placement.

Who can apply?

Applicants age 17-25, living in the North East of England.  Applicants need to demonstrate why it would be harder for them to raise the funds required in comparison with other Lattitude candidates.

What’s available?

Bursaries can range from small top-up grants to more substantial assistance.

How can I apply?

First, you need to complete the Lattitude application form, indicating that you would like to be considered for a bursary.  You will then be contacted by the Bursary Coordinator with more information and an application form.  You’ll need to give information about financial circumstances and any fundraising plans you may have.  If you have already applied for a Lattitude volunteering placement and would like to apply for financial support please contact the Bursary Coordinator via the details below.
