The General Bursary Scheme is aimed at young people who experience financial problems and who would otherwise not be able to afford to volunteer overseas on a Lattitude placement.
Who can apply ?
UK applicants aged 17-19 predominantly
Applications from those aged 20-25 will be considered, but awards will only be made in exceptional circumstances
Applicants need to demonstrate why it would be harder for them to raise the funds required, in comparison with other Lattitude candidates.
What's available?
Bursaries can range from small top-up grants to more substantial assistance.
How can I apply?
First, you need to fill in the bursary application form, indicating that you would like to be considered for a bursary. You will then be contacted by the Bursary Coordinator with more information and an application form. You'll need to provide information about your financial circumstances and any fundraising plans you may have. If you have already applied for a Lattitude Volunteering Placement and would like to apply for financial support please contact the Bursary Coordinator using the details below.
