Lattitude (and previously as Gap Activity Projects) has been placing volunteers since 1972 and over 25,000 young people have volunteered with us. We have a truly global network of ex-volunteers – you come from Australia, the UK, New Zealand, Europe, South America, Africa and beyond and we’d like to keep in touch with you!
We are approaching our 40th anniversary and are seeking to get back in touch with as many alumni as possible.
Update your records
We like to keep in touch with all our returned volunteers so we can update you on what we're doing and how you can stay involved. To help us do this, please send an email to
volunteer@lattitude.org.uk. If you are still in touch with others you met on placement, please ask them to get in touch as well.
Are you a recently returned volunteer?
We're sure you gained a great deal from your gap year and are already planning a return trip to your placement, inputting all those new contact details into your address book and working out where in the world you want to go next!
Your placement may have finished but your contact with us does not have to stop here. If you're interested in putting your experience down in words or have great photographs to share with us, our Photographic, Written and Blog competitions for 2010 are open. To submit your entries from your placement (Oct 2009 - Oct 2010) please send them by email to
volunteer@lattitude.org.uk You could win £90 first prize in each category.
Are you currently an undergraduate or postgraduate student?
Make sure you're a member of our Business Partnership Scheme so we can alert you to career opportunities now and in the future. We are continually developings links with companies and sectors that we think our alumni will be interested in working for.
Did you go on your Lattitude placement some time ago?
If you have dropped in to find out what Lattitude is up to and how you might be able to get involved, then you ’ve come to the right place. We are very keen to keep in touch with our past volunteers and to track what they are up to at university and beyond, so take some time to look around the site to see what Lattitude is doing at the moment. We are always looking for adult volunteers to help with interviewing, to manage our programmes and to support our volunteers on placement. If this is you then please email
volunteer@lattitude.org.uk
Do you work for one of our Business Partners?
...or a company that you think may like to get involved in the scheme? If so, please contact Ellie on
