Lattitude Global Volunteering is the new name for Gap Activity Projects!
New name, new face, but we are still the same charity who, for 35 years has specialised in volunteering for 17-25 year-olds.
Lattitude is an organisation with attitude. We are passionately
concerned about the world and the issues facing us all. Above all, we
are concerned about having a positive impact on the communities in
which we volunteer.
Lattitude Volunteers...
- are not tourists. They immerse themselves in the local
culture and become members of that community. They learn about a
country from within
- step outside their comfort zone and achieve something unique
- experience life, living and new horizons
Choosing a gap year is the best decision you could make. If all you
want to do is see the world or make lots of money, then Lattitude isn’t
for you. If you want to volunteer in another country, carry out work
that will make a lasting difference (and have the opportunity for
travel!) then read on.
